Campero, Banco G&T Continental, Tigo and Pepsi donated 12,022,545 Quetzales to Fundación Ayúdame a Vivir

Many children with cancer disease, who are assisted by the Unidad Nacional de Oncología Pediátrica (UNOP), will be benefited with this donation.

Since 2001, leader Guatemalan companies have joined their efforts to save many children with cancer disease through the mega raffle, UNETE. Along these five years, a total of Q50, 604,000 have been donated, making this the highest collecting event of Guatemala. 100% of these funds have been given to Fundación Ayúdame a Vivir.

Children’s cancer is a disease that can be cured by an early diagnosis, an adequate and specialized treatment and with a long-term continuity.

This is why we have held the mega raffle UNETE, for the fifth consecutive year and accomplished our goal of collecting Q12,022,545. Surpassing the goal, was highly important and significant, since raffle earnings represent 40% of the budget that Unidad Nacional de Oncología Pediátrica (UNOP) needs to continue with its operations and benefit many children with cancer disease, through the specialized equipment and medical treatment.

The tickets were sold from October 18 th until December 31 st 2005 for Q15.00 each, through the sponsor companies and employees. The participating tickets will get into the raffle of 5 houses located at Residenciales El Quetzal and 10 Hyundai automobiles. The winning tickets will be announced on January 19 th, 2006 in every local newspaper.
