Pollo Campero, the world’s largest Latin chicken restaurant brand, today announced the opening of its newest restaurant in the Dallas area. The restaurant, located at 1380 West Belt Line Road, Richardson, Texas 75080, is the fifth Pollo Campero in the Metroplex and the first of several new restaurants Pollo Campero plans to open in North Texas this year.
“This is an extremely important year for Pollo Campero when it comes to growth,” said Tim Pulido, President and CEO of Pollo Campero International. “We have made it our goal to double the size of Campero’s U.S. system in the next three years. This new restaurant in Richardson is yet another important step in that direction.”
In addition to the new restaurant in Richardson, Pollo Campero’s 2016 growth plans include the opening of at least two more restaurants in North Texas; one located in Lewisville and the other in Arlington. Pollo Campero, whose U.S. headquarters are in Dallas, currently has restaurants on Cockrell Hill and Webb Chapel Roads in Dallas, along with restaurants in Farmers Branch and Irving.
All of Pollo Campero’s Dallas restaurants showcase its world-famous authentic Latin menu and its new global brand image, both of which center around Campero’s long-standing core values and its deep Latin roots. “As Pollo Campero marks its 45th anniversary this year, our commitment to staying true to our Latin roots remains as true today as it did back then,” said Pulido. “It has been at the center of our success all these years and is what we believe will help us continue to grow now and in the future.”
The Richardson restaurant is open for service from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The Lewisville and Arlington restaurants are expected to open in the fall of 2016.
